Beyoncé’s Music Video Costume Up For Sale
One of Beyoncé's music video costumes has been donated to a charity sale. The gold tuxedo suit - worn for 2011 release Love On Top - will go on sale this weekend.
The Douglas Hannant silk two-piece will form part of the Park Avenue Garage charity sale in Manhattan - which raises money in aid of New Yorkers for Children - and will carry a price tag of $750 (£465). The suit originally cost around $5,600 (£3,470).
The suit jacket has had the sleeves re-sewn on due to Beyoncé ripping them during one of her signature energetic dance routines, reports The New York Post. Other pieces to feature in the nearly-new sale include a Dolce & Gabbana dress donated by actress Patricia Clarkson. The charity event is open to the public and will be held on Friday and Saturday in New York.
